Hannah and Alan’s fall Lacuna Lofts wedding was a highlight of the year. Not only was it special because Lacuna was where Lindsay and I got married, but their reception was such a throwback to the Warped Tour days. We started off the day with Hannah getting ready at her mom’s condo while Alan got ready at the InterContinental Hotel before we headed to North Avenue Beach for the most joyful and laughter filled first look. We hopped back on the bus and traded the sunny lakefront for some iconic Chicago architecture at Harold Washington Library and snagging some photos on the CTA platform. Hannah and Alan exchanged their vows in front of family and friends on Lacuna’s rooftop with the Chicago skyline serving as their backdrop, just beautiful. As the night went on and the dancing began, Hannah had a dress change right before the whole reception started singing along to “Lips of an Angel” by Hinder. I never imagined that I would hear basically a Warped Tour playlist at a wedding, and I am definitely not complaining.
